| so far the no.1 thing i have learnt as a minimum wage earner and new member of the working class is that... the hype surrounding higher education IS TRUE. now i completely and totally understand why evryone keeps insisting "yao hao hao du shu"! cos if you dont, you end up in a no-prospects job earning minimum wage for the rest of your life! ah, it all seems so clear right now.
anyway i have been surviving at work for past 3 days thanks to my awesome friends who came down to visit :D especially celine whom ive been having lunch break w for the past 2 days <3 yayyyyy!!! plus one of my coworkers is frm rj too how coincidentally awesome is that!
alright i WILL finish my UCAS by tonight! work tmr again but at least its the 4-10pm shift thank god |

| hello fellows this is probably a bit belated, but happy 2010 :D
have ushered in the new year on a v good note indeed! actually woke up in the AM instead of PM ytd and today, plus i slept at 2am ytd/today! compared to my usual 4am/5am bedtime i must say this is a vast improvement and a sign that things are gonna get better! :D and they have, indeed
spent the first day of 2010 w fush (i travelled all the way to potong pasir D:), shopping w parents (heehee managed to pick up some stuff which made me feel extremely self satisfied!! zara sales suxxx btw nothing much there!), shopping alone while waiting for chris which was also v rewarding, alvin and the chipmunks 2 w chris (HA HA)
NYE was kinda sad since i was stuck at home doing my apps, but words cant express HOW GLAD I AM to have FINALLY FINISHED everything ok apart from Columbia + UCAS but i still have a few days for that! in the words of a tired old cliche, it feels like a heavy burden has been lifted off my shoulders, ahahahaha
mmm had dinner w grace tamsin and almas the day before, and movie marathon sleepover at graces after actually grace and i were the only ones having the marathon since we were so accustomed to staying up late, while tamsin and almas fell asleep by the first movie -.-
anyway! the thing is, 2010 looks pretty promising so far and i hope it keeps getting better! sposed to start work nxt wk but the woman hasnt called me abt the schedule hmmmmm. guys come visit grace and i are Eclecticism either in wisma or shaw! :D |

| amazingly enough i got two job offers today!  hmm maybe the whole once-youve-hit-rock bottom-it-can-only-go-upwards-from-now thing really works. whatever, ill take what i can get! :D
binged with jacq today <3 <3 <3 and somehow ended up in bishan library ahahaha (jacq: lets go to the Fiction section, maybe _'s blog will be there) i realised coffee beans caramel frappe is way sweeter than starbucks. hmm.
